A little bit about us...

Brookwood Equestrian Center, Inc. is proud to be Western Washington's oldest continuously operating riding facility. With a history that can be traced to 1922, Brookwood is truly a facility rich in the traditions of Northwest riding. This facility has been a Northwest landmark since it was moved to its current site in 1950. Brookwood was purchased in 1993 by the Michelson family. Since then it has been undergoing extensive refurbishing.

Brookwood currently features 49 stalls. You will find two hot & cold wash racks, a hot walker and one of the Northwest's largest privately owned indoor arenas. Our outdoor arena is 50,000 sq ft with all weather footing for year round enjoyment.

Our turn out area has an extensive drainage system that keeps the ground free of mud.

Brookwood Equestrian Center has one of the most diversified English riding and training programs in Washington state. Whether your preference is the hunter ring, riding jumpers over five foot fences or the elegance of dressage you'll find a trainer at Brookwood that can help you to reach your full potential. You will also find a compliment of school horses for the beginner to the more advanced rider.
